"South Park " the controversial American cartoon series created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, soon come to Broadway with a musical called "The Book of Mormon" (The Book of Mormon ), which has the participation of Robert Lopez (co-creator of Avenue Q). The work expected to be released in March 2011 and will be directed by Jason Moore and Trey Parker. The creative team will soon announce details of the cast.
Mormons have been the target of the characters in South Park, but the religious group has not yet made formal criticism against the series.
However, the Christian community itself has protested on several occasions, especially when one of the Chapters of South Park showed the Virgin Mary menstruating.
The script and music for "The Book of Mormon" (The Book of Mormon) is already written, and the work that is sure to generate great controversy will be released in Broadway, New York in March 2011.
